We are a family run business spanning three generations. The Company was started by Ron Ward in 1967 primarily as a wood flooring specialist but over the years we have expanded so that we are now an established and reputable firm who are specialists in all areas of wood flooring and sanding, vinyl, carpets and industrial flooring, with a white rock subsidiary arm. The company is now run as a Partnership by Len Ward and his son Lewis and the high standards we have always expected of ourselves continues.

All aspects of running the business are handled by family members, and our workforce outside the family is long standing and are highly skilled individuals.
Having begun in 1967, run and carried out by primarily family members a large focus of our company is based on customer satisfaction and approval.
We are a very personal company and care about our clients views, ideas and needs. We can assist in making our customers visions possible by suggesting the best possible ways to produce a quality product from design to finish.
We have been fortunate to forge very good relationships with many valued Clients whom for we have worked over a period of over 30 years. We pride ourselves that we have built up a very successful company through the recommendations we have been given and the business has grown in this way.
R Ward & Son provide a prompt and professional service to domestic and contract customers who require quality workmanship, sensible pricing and honest advice with an old fashioned personal touch.
We cover both domestic and commercial flooring including schools, hotels, healthcare, local councils, leisure centres, care homes, new developments and many more.
All aspects of wooden flooring are covered, including laminate flooring as is sub-floor preparation work and sanding. We can supply flooring for both dry and wet areas.
Our catchment area covers much of the South East of England including all areas of London. However, all jobs are considered and anyone needing our services is advised to contact us as we have travelled all over the UK and also throughout Europe delivering our services to customers.
The world we now live in has changed and that is the reason we have developed a website, in preparation for the future, as we appreciate that it is vital we are accessible to Clients for testimonials and background knowledge.

We are registered as an Altius Assured Vendor in Commerical Viability with an ID No. 1992 which shows that we are covered in every aspect of Health and Safety and Public and Employers Liability.
This is a very stringent qualification which is constantly updated and scrutinised by Altius and Clients are welcome to check our credentials and our cover.
We pride ourselves that we do everything to ensure that a Client is left happy when the job is completed. However, our Clients are advised that we will deal with any problems promptly and efficiently without query.
As with all our floor coverings our professional staff will visit your property to measure up, order your choice of floor covering and install it to the highest standards.
